User profiles

Edalitics allows you to define 4+1 user profiles:

• Administrators: edalitics administrators with full control over the application. Any user who is in the EDA_ADMIN_ROLE group:

  • Can manage users and groups.
  • Can manage data models.
  • Has full control over existing reports in EDA.

• Advanced Users: Advanced users. All users who are in the EDA_DATASOURCE_CREATOR group:

  • Can create data models.
  • Can create and manage reports (only their own).
  • Can consume their own reports and those shared with them.

• Normal users: Can:

  • Create and manage reports (only their own).
  • Consume their own reports and those shared with them.

• Read-only users: Limited users who can only consume reports. All users in the EDA_RO group:

  • Can consume reports shared with them.

• There is one last user. The public user who has special user treatment with limited usability.
