Advanced time series

Edalitics identifies when a field in a query is a time series and activates a set of specific type of data features.

Specific format of date fields

While setting up a date field we can choose about:

• Date format:

  • Year
  • Month
  • Day
  • Etc

• If we work at day, week or month level, we can define if data are cumulative in order to have YTD type measures.

  

Specific Iso graphs format

In graph properties (bars, lines and areas), while a serie is temporal, it can be selected the comparative option. With this label activated, it won’t appear a single serie, the graph will adquire a set of overlaped ranges of time, in order to make the comparison easier.
