Enable/disable settings

At Edalitics, each report includes configuration options that allow you to control both user interaction with the data and editing permissions. These features are designed to offer greater flexibility, prevent unwanted modifications, and adapt the report’s behavior to the needs of each team or use case.

This option allows you to disable or enable dynamic filters. To enable or disable dynamic filters, go to the three dots in the report, select “More options,” and choose either “Click on filter enabled” or “Click on filter disabled”. When disabled, clicking on a chart attribute will not filter by that attribute or any other.

Private editing allows only the person who activates this option to edit the report. Anyone else can view the report, but they cannot edit it. To activate this option, go to the three dots on the report, select “More options,” and then “Private editing enabled”. Once you click and save, this option is enabled, and no one else will be able to edit your report. To deactivate it, follow the same steps and click “Editing enabled/disabled” and save.

This option allows you to lock or unlock the movement of a panel within the report.

In Edalitics, panels can be moved freely to facilitate report organization and design. However, it is also possible to lock panels that should not be modified, keeping them fixed in their position and preventing accidental movement.
